While in a Mission the player has 5 types of stats or body conditions. Certain stats will decrease depending on various factors.
The player can keep on moving on the map even if one of the stats reach 0, excluding Health. While one of the stats is 0 there is a chance to trigger a negative Event that will reduce the players Health, while moving.
Types of Stats[]
Health[]
A stat that will change when the player is wounded in an event. Health can be regained with Bandages, certain Events and in Shrines. When Health reaches 0 the player will die and the mission will fail.
Energy[]
Energy is wasted when moving on the map. Each type of terrain Tiles has a different Energy cost to cross. Energy can also be lost in certain Events. The main method to regain Energy is by sleeping but, it can also be regained in certain Events and by eating Canned Food.
Sanity[]
Sanity is lost when performing "unethical" actions. It can be regained by helping others, consuming Moon Herbs and visiting Shrines and Wonders.
Warmth[]
Warmth is lost in bad Weather. It can be regained by drinking Hot Tea.
Oxygen[]
Oxygen is lost while in the Dead Zone while time passes. It can be regained with Oxygen Tanks and spending time outside of the Dead Zone.
Influence on Stats[]
Beside "one time" stat influence like Events and Items, there are factors that will increase or decrease stats over time.
- Skills and Team Upgrades. By upgrading skills in the Base the player can add buffs that will increase stat regain over time and also increase the maximum stat points per Character.
- Equipment. Some items can be equipped in the player's inventory and will replenish or consume stats over time.
- Mission conditions. Each mission can have various conditions that will last until the mission is over.
- Weather. Some weather can decrease Warmth over time.
- Injuries. During the mission the player can receive temporary injuries that will decrease stats for some time.
- Mission Skills. While gaining levels during the mission the player will be given optional temporary or constant stat regain over time.
