Each Tile on the Mission map can have an event. By reaching the tile the event will be triggered.

Cave[]
A cave event will allow the player to sleep in favourable conditions. Sanity won't be lost while sleeping in a cave and Warmth will be gained.
In addition most of the caves will offer an "investigation" event wich can rewward with items and experience points. Even though it is rare, a bad outcome in this event can cancel the option to sleep in the cave.
Wonder[]
Wonders reward with experience points and restore sanity.
Shrine[]
Shrines offer to restore one of two random Stats.
Treasure Chest[]
Treasure chests have a chance to reward with items and expirience.
Encounter[]
Encounters have a chance to reward with items and experience.
Trader[]
Traders will allow to trade certain preset items for others.
